Highlighting a surge of innovation especially in glass packaging, Datta emphasised the significance of the packaging industry by stating that packaging serves as a “barometer for growth”.

TK Datta talked about how regulations play a pivotal role in ensuring success. When implemented correctly, he elaborated that proper guidelines and standards provide a road map for businesses to operate efficiently. He said that packaging is no longer a silent salesman, it's now an aggressive salesman.

Additionally, he emphasised the significance of designing a package with a keen consideration for the Poison Prevention Packaging Act and senior friendliness for senior citizens.

Creative head of Shapes and Forms, Inderjit Singh Rana quoted, “A good design is easy to look, easy to make, and easy to use.” He noticed a positive shift in the industry, with many now opting for biodegradable material in their packaging solution.

However, he also pointed out a significant concern with eCommerce platforms, where there's a tendency towards excessive packaging leading to substantial waste. Rana stressed the importance of ensuring the products are securely packed, and there should be no room for them to rattle inside.
