While the Fi India expo will highlight food trends and superfoods, ProPak India will feature the latest trends with a strong emphasis on sustainability and eco-friendly packaging practices.  A dedicated area within the event, ‘Sustainability Square’ has been introduced to  demonstrate a clear commitment to addressing the pressing need for sustainable packaging solutions.

Yogesh Mudras, managing director, Informa Markets India said, “While the food ingredients market in India is thriving, the food packaging industry plays a crucial role in ensuring food safety and hygiene. Through ProPak and Fi-India, we want to harness India's abundant and diverse raw material base for the food processing industries.”

“The industry is witnessing a shift towards eco-friendly materials and embracing recycling and waste management practices. Together, these sectors contribute to India's vibrant food industry, catering to consumers’ evolving preferences and regulatory requirements,” added Mudras.

The event will benefit stakeholders including food and beverage product manufacturers, distributors, and retailers. It will aid research and development professionals, scientific experts, manufacturing and microbiology consultants, ingredient manufacturers, food safety and quality services experts, as well as training professionals and other related individuals in the industry.

ProPak India is expected to attract over 300 brands from key companies such as Konica Minolta, Serac Packaging Solution, Glatt India, Holostik India, among others.
