The expansion of organised retail and fast-paced urban lifestyle has driven the Indian food and beverage packaging market. The market value is estimated at USD 35.93 billion in 2024, and is expected to reach USD 49.27 billion by 2029, growing at a CAGR of 6.52% during the forecast period (2024-2029), as per a Mordor Intelligence report.

The agenda of ProPak and Fi India is to highlight food and packaging trends. A dedicated zone ‘sustainability square’ demonstrates commitment to address the pressing need for sustainable packaging solutions. This platform provides B2B meeting opportunities, and organises knowledge-sharing sessions in the form of seminars and panel discussions.

The show in September 2024 will provide an opportunity for the food, dairy, bakery, cosmetics, pharmaceutical, household goods processing, eCommerce, industrial goods and packaging industries to discuss a unique set of challenges such as consumer preferences, improved information around health and nutrition, convenience foods and food safety, quality compliances, traceability and batch scheduling among others. All these are also driving the changes in packaging, and its demand.

Stakeholders including food and beverage product manufacturers, distributors, and retailers will be present. Also, research and development professionals, scientific experts, manufacturing and microbiology consultants, ingredient manufacturers, food safety and quality services experts, as well as training professionals and other related individuals in the industry will benefit from the show.

The exhibition section of ProPak India will showcase processing machinery, packaging equipment, packaging material and labelling. Over 100 odd companies will offer process control, measurement and testing instruments, automation machinery, recycling and environmental technologies, material handling technologies and solutions.

The expo will garner over 300 brands, and boasts a range of exhibitors, including Swiss Pac, Vora Packaging, Holostik India, and Fillpack Technology, among others. It will host over 100 odd companies offering products and services in automation, testing and measurement, filing and sealing machinery, cartoning machinery, materials and consumables, and complete production lines along with allied services.
