Unlike the previous editions of the show where Jury Day was a daylong affair, this year, it has been spread across three days so that respective Juries get more time to evaluate the samples received for the Awards and discuss the tech-specs and innovations as well as specialisatons in greater detail.

The Awards recognises the very best of printing, whether it's innovation, quality, or out-of-box approach to the medium, in 35 categories across Performance, Quality, and Special Industry Awards.

This year, the Awards has re-introduced some old categories not included in the last edition. These are Brochure and Catalogue Printer of the Year, Newspaper Printer of the Year, Fine Art Printer of the Year, and POS/POP Printer of the Year.

Apart from these, there will be two new categories in the Performance Awards– MSME Company of the Year and Export Company of the Year.

For the Jury Week event, the categories are divided into three groups. There will be separate sets of Jury members on each day.

All print/packaging jobs will be coded and the identity of the company will be kept a secret. The Jury will carefully review hundreds of entries, discuss your choices with fellow jurists who are experts in their fields, and then make final selections.

As Sudhanva Jategaonkar, B2B - business head of Haymarket Sac, "The Printweek Awards are designed to recognise the clout of this industry, because regardless of the economic ups and downs, the industry’s need to applaud and celebrate its successes is constant. As always 2023, will reflect the ambition and aspirations of our industry."

Jategaonkar added, "The Jury members include heads of publishing firms, design agencies, top FMCG brands etc."

The Awards night will be hosted on 30 October (Monday) at the Westin, Powai (Mumbai).
