Gautam Kothari, managing director, Worldpack Automation Systems, spoke about the company’s offerings and markets its catering to. He said that the second day of the show was fruitful, and the company received quite a few enquiries.

Worldpack had its front and back labelling machine at the stall. Kothari said, “Our labelling machines cater to wide industrial applications such as pharma, liquor, food and beverages, and personal care. It can produce various types of labels such as tamper evident, product labelling, branding, offers, end of the line and many more.”

The speed of this machine varies from 60 to 800 bottles per minute, depending on the application. It has a provision for adding multiple labelling heads in a single machine to apply one to four labels on bottles or jars.

In terms of branding and product labelling, the machine goes up to 300 to 400 bottles per minute, with vision inspection and automatic rejection system. “For the pharma sector, we do labelling with tamper-evident, with track and trace system,” he added. The track and trace systems are being imported from foreign countries. Kothari said that the company has been catering to the Indian pharma countries with their track and trace system, which eliminates the import.

He said, “Our customer profile consists of integration with OEMs which do complete packaging lines; this amounts to 20 to 25% of our sales. 70% of our sales is directly generated by the end-users on their production lines.”
