USA-headquartered Valco Melton is a leading manufacturer of hot melt and cold glue adhesive dispensing equipment and quality inspection systems. The company offers a diverse portfolio including electronic controls, high-performance pumps and fluid-handling equipment, for in-line inspection.
Ravi Kiran, business director - South Asia, Middle East, South East Asia, Valco Melton spoke about ClearVision’s automated packaging inspection system, PackChek. The module captures a thermal and visible image of every package to ensure hot melt glue has been applied precisely. PackChek is an end-of-line solution, which can be integrated in the packaging line without space constraints.
As a member of IPMMI, Valco Melton exhibits at the PackMach show to leverage the packaging line, with easy integration in the machine. The company has started operations in Indonesia and Malaysia.
Ravi Kiran said that the Indian packaging industry has witnessed a massive shift post Covid in terms of the kind, style, and purpose of packaging has been redefined. Also, traceability and automation, hand-in-hand, has revolutionised the industry.
