The HFFS machine, Vegapack M - series, forms stand-up pouches in-line, followed by filling and then sealing. It is aimed for food, pet and home, and personal care markets. Vegapack allows for the machine to process recyclable and eco-friendly films.

The changeover time is 45 minutes, including filling sections, which increases uptime and efficiency. The machine also consists of Optiseal system, which is used to control temperature, sealing pressure and sealing time for each station independently.

“We have our focus on the food industry, hence, we look forward to the PackMach Asia Expo to meet brand owners, and have useful conversations with them,” said Apurva Kane, director, Mamata Machinery.

The USP of the VFFS machine offered by Mamata is that it runs at 180 packs per minute, which makes it the fastest VFFS machine in India. Kane said, “We are providing nearly 50% more output than anybody else.” The application areas of VFC 180 are the food industry. This machine also offers Optiseal control system.

Kane believes, “The challenge for brand owners in future is to shift from non-recyclable packaging to recyclable packaging. Our technologically advanced machines are capable to run these recyclable materials. Hence, we address these challenges and our machines are future-ready.”

Kane said that automation is an important aspect particularly in terms of mass production. Mamata Machinery also provides automated solutions for secondary packaging.
