Chetan Jain and Taurus Packaging became the talking point at the largest packaging event. This time, it is because of the launch of Jain’s new book, Packaging Black Book that made its way to the screen. Chetan Jain presented this book to all dignitaries as part of the delegate kits that was given out by the organiser. This book covers topics that give packaging leaders moves for specific technical packaging quandaries.

Chapters were written considering the technical and operational situations. The book neither hung around for a conclusion nor kept you waiting for the real picture. It’s structured in the form of chapters which discuss problem situations. Jain has always been inspired by the potential of technical knowledge, which compels you to go deep and leave no stone unturned for the desired output.

In the presence of 1,900 packaging leaders across the world, Chetan Jain’s book is able to address the topics that are glocal in approach. Sustainability, shrink sleeve substrate, shrink tunnels, inks, packaging designs, and challenges are a few of the topics that are covered in the book. Specifically designed for packaging professionals in the shrink-sleeve industry, this book is an approach to mitigating all assumptions that hinder the packaging process.

This book is a beginning to the process for optimal packaging. Jain had worked on a comprehensive training session designed for packaging development professionals in top FMCG companies. He recently conducted sessions in a few companies: ITC, Nestle, Mondelez, Dabur, and HUL.
