Premium savoury vouch of Indian market

According to Statista Market Insights, the premium segment of chocolate market accounts for Rs 3,900 crore with a growth rate of 10%. In India, Mondelez tops the list with 60% contribution to the overall market followed by Hershey’s with 30%, Ferrero at 6% and the rest 4%. Besides the big players, Indian brands have contributed to expanding the confectionery market, one of them is TheWholeTruth Foods.

Festive sales marks its entry already

Although a major chunk prefers online shopping, the festival has its own charm in India. According to a InMobi report, 58% are planning to purchase electronics during Dussehra and Diwali. Pack-Man saw a whopping 78% expected sales of smartphones.

Nestle has launched 10 products so far in 2023

Suresh Narayanan, CMD, Nestle India said, “We have already launched 10 new products this year. We are looking at more categories while focusing on premiumisation of our products.”

Pack-Man read that the company is expanding its rural exposure with relevant offerings. Also, during the April-June quarter, it saw an increase in consumer demand.
