Mumbai's Pac MechEx to host MCMA seminar on 4 April
The previous edition of Inter FoodTech, Snack & BakeTec, and Pac MechEx, held in New Delhi, had 270 exhibitors, and a footfall of 8,397 trade visitors. This edition aims to attract a wide range of professionals from the food and beverage industry.

The fourth edition of Inter FoodTech, Snack & BakeTec, and Pac MechEx, is set to take place from April 3-5, 2025, at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai. It presents itself as a destination for industry professionals seeking the latest technologies, networking opportunities, and insights into the future of food manufacturing.
Organised by VA Exhibitions, the event will bring together over 270 exhibitors from 21 countries, showcasing solutions in food processing technology, beverage processing, packaging machinery, and automation. Over 120 live demonstrations of machines and equipment are expected at the venue, allowing visitors to see the latest technologies in action.
The Metal Container Manufacturers Association (MCMA) is supporting the Pac MechEx 2025 exhibition as an industry partner. On 4 April, MCMA will host a seminar titled Can – The Future, focusing on the benefits and future potential of metal packaging. The seminar will feature a series of expert speakers, including Ujjal Chakraborti, EIC of the tinplate division at Tata Steel, Yogesh Sharma, director at KPMG, Alain D’haese, secretary general of the European Aerosol Federation, Saumya Nair, technical lab manager at Envirocare Labs, and S Sreenatha, vice president at Easy Openends India.
Topics will cover tinplate packaging, digitisation in packaging, packaging waste regulation, food safety in metal containers, and innovations in easy-open ends. The event will culminate with a panel discussion featuring industry leaders such as Amit Agrawal, chief marketing and sales officer of Tata Steel; Mansoor Siddiqi, former executive at Coca-Cola, Unilever Asia, and Diageo; Kartik M Nayak, joint managing director of Shetron; Kaushal Vora, managing director of Massilly India Packaging; and Ritesh Mathur, founder of F2F Food and Beverage Consultants and Vice President of AFST, Mumbai Chapter.
A highlight of the seminar series will be CAN – The Future, discussing the sustainability and profitability of using metal cans as a packaging material for food and beverages.
