Labelexpo 2022: Avery Dennison highlights its new facility, RFID solutions
As Avery Dennison India turns 25, the company has invested more than Rs 1000-crore India, including more than Rs 250-crore in a new facility in Greater Noida. At the same time, the company continues to evolve in its engagement with sustainable and innovative materials.

At Labelexpo India 2020, Avery Dennison focused on areas, such as building a better customer experience, product innovation, sustainable solutions, futuristic technologies to build on customer engagement and the company’s 25 years of existence in India.
The company’s theme is building a sustainable and resilient future, wherein it showcased its range of sustainable and digital solutions, including RFID and NFC technologies, along with a range of solutions to help build premium shelf appeal and enhance security for a brand.
“The three key highlights visitors should look out for at the company stall are its unique bouquet of services introduced for enhancing customer experience, its initiatives towards sustainability and futuristic technologies,” Lakshmanan R of Avery Dennison said.
With its new world-class manufacturing facility in Greater Noida, Avery Dennison has now moved to almost 100% localised production capability in India. "With the facility, we will be able to better serve customer demands while optimising the new technology and leveraging the improved efficiencies,” Vipin Garg of Avery Dennison said.
Spread over an area of 12 acres, the new state-of-the-art plant will produce technologically-advanced, pressure-sensitive materials for the labelling and packaging industry and would incorporate best practices available across Avery Dennison globally. The facility is equipped with the latest high-speed coating technology and has the state-of-the-art coating and lamination lines, along with high-speed sliters and sheeters.
Being the world’s largest UHF/RFID partner, at the technologies of the future zone at its stand, the company showcased a suite of digital id technologies that authenticate product history, provide tracking and inventory solutions, and conjure up richer consumer encounters.
