The 12th Vinyl India Summit, held on 10–11 April 2025 at Mumbai’s Jio World Convention Centre, brought together over 1,250 delegates from 540 organisations across 25 countries. Organised by ElitePlus Business Services under the leadership of founder and managing director, Nidhi Verma, and supported by India’s department of chemicals and petrochemicals, the event focused on innovation, sustainability, and strategic growth in the global vinyl sector.
Keynote speakers included Ajit Singh (chairman, ACG Group), Vivek Jain (managing director, DCW), Anil Jain (vice chairman and CEO, Jain Irrigation Systems), Ignacio Torras (president and CEO, Tricon Energy), and Deepak Mishra (joint secretary, department of chemicals and petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilisers). They addressed themes ranging from India’s industrial outlook to sustainability, trade shifts, and the role of vinyl in national infrastructure.
Industry leaders from abroad, such as Jim Coulston (CEO, Vinyl Council of Australia), Aine Curran (president and CEO, Vinyl Institute of Canada), and Ned Monroe (president and CEO, The Vinyl Institute, US), praised India’s leadership in sustainable PVC growth and its potential as a global manufacturing base.
Technical sessions covered a wide spectrum—from PVC processing and downstream machinery to innovations in CPVC, O-PVC, and additives. These were led by experts like MP Taparia (managing director, Supreme Industries), Anuj Jain (executive director, Kansai Nerolac), and representatives from Reliance, Finolex, and Lubrizol.
Panel discussions explored topics such as “PVC IND 4.0,” uPVC window trends, and the outlook for O-PVC pipes. The summit reinforced India’s growing influence in the vinyl value chain and laid the foundation for future partnerships and investments.
