Wimco has long been recognised for its expertise in manufacturing and supplying tube-filling machines for products like toothpaste, skincare, and pharmaceuticals. Impel Services is India’s leading manufacturer of bookbinding machines with Bindwel and is a provider of case-packaging solutions using hotmelt adhesives.

Wimco has transferred its designs, blueprints, and trademarks to Impel Services. In addition, Impel will be able to use the trademark of Wimco for its range of packaging machines for five years.

Pallippuram Sajith, managing director of the Impel Group said, “With over 1,000 machines sold across various sectors — pharma, cosmetics, dental care, skincare, haircare, men’s grooming, beauty products, and industrial products like adhesives and resins — Wimco is the trusted choice for a huge number of Indian and global brands. From as small as three grams to 300 grams, Wimco machines offer an unmatched range in packing sizes, catering to diverse production needs with precision and adaptability.”

Impel’s case packaging machines under the “Stelda” brand have already been established as the most eco-friendly solution for case sealing and erecting. Stelda also offers specialised solutions to remove single use plastics like straps and biaxially-oriented polypropylene (BOPP) tapes. Leading brands like Nestle, ITC, Haldirams’ have installed multiple machines from Stelda that help reduce the transit losses - like damages and pilferage. Stelda worked closely with Havells India’s electric wires division to remove shrink wrapping and reduce strapping of their corrugated boxes.
