IFCA Star Awards 2023 is back

IFCA is planning to host the IFCA Star Awards 2023 in the third quarter of 2023. As per IFCA, “the Star Awards 2022 was a success and the organisation is planning to make it even grander this time.”

IFCA Star Awards provides a platform to showcase the innovation and creativity skills of the industry players. IFCA claims that the Star Awards 2022 was a grand success and it received lots of entries in various categories - The enthusiasm shown in participation was tremendous.

“We are delighted to announce the IFCA Star Awards 2023. This year we have nine categories for applications and look forward to a gala event,” said Chandrasekhar Rajagopalan, president, IFCA.

Categories
The award categories for Star Awards 2023 contain Flexible and Carton Packaging: 
Flexible Packaging: Innovations, creativity including shapes, new applications and new forms 
Carton Packaging: Innovations, creativity including shapes, new applications, new forms, structural innovation and graphic design. 
The awards also include categories for achievements in recycling and supporting circular economy; branding categories; innovations and for students. 

The Indian Flexible Packaging and Folding Carton Manufacturers Association (IFCA) is a pan-India association addressing the needs of the packaging industry for the last five decades.

The Award function will be hosted in the presence of leaders from the industry. The trophies and certificates to the winners will be awarded in the glittering ceremony. The winners will be intimated separately after adjudication is complete. On the occasion of the IFCA Star Awards ceremony, a special edition of the IFCA newsletter will be released.

The packaging industry in India has made great strides in the last two decades by offering innovative and cost-effective solutions to the problems faced by the end industries. Creativity and innovation has become key to sustenance. Since packaging companies encompass inks, adhesives, print, films and machinery, the concept of innovation and creativity becomes a force multiplier. Allied industries also act as a catalyst to creativity and innovation.
