Esko, an industry leader in packaging technology, acquired Bizongo’s Artwork Flow, a label management software, in October 2024. Bizongo is a vendor digitisation platform with embedded financing, and Artwork Flow was originally launched as an artwork management platform.
The deal includes all Artwork Flow assets, with plans to integrate its features into Esko’s existing packaging software ecosystem. The brand and product portfolio will gradually merge with Esko’s packaging solutions while ensuring continuity for existing users.
The acquisition allows Artwork Flow to leverage Esko’s expertise in packaging management. The platform will continue to focus on streamlining packaging, regulatory, and branding processes while enhancing its features to help brands accelerate time-to-market.
Artwork Flow serves fast-growing brands, particularly those in new product development, regulatory affairs, and marketing. These customers rely on the platform for efficient review, approval, and compliance processes. Post-acquisition, they will gain access to Esko’s broader packaging tools, including PageProof, for improved consistency in plate production and proofing.
Esko plans to combine Artwork Flow’s AI-enabled compliance checks with its own packaging automation tools. This will provide brands with a seamless process for label management, regulatory adherence, and faster market entry.
The acquisition reinforces Esko’s commitment to advancing packaging innovation while supporting Artwork Flow’s mission to digitise and simplify artwork management. Existing customers will see no disruption, with continued improvements to ensure efficiency and accuracy in packaging workflows.
