Cosmo First has appointed Yamini Kumar Jaipuria as whole-time director, overseeing corporate strategy, ESG, CSR, and leadership development.

Cosmo First has appointed Yamini Kumar Jaipuria as its whole-time director of corporate strategy, ESG, and CSR, for a five-year term. With nearly two decades of experience, Kumar previously served as vice president of human resources at GE Europe, Asia, and India, and has been a corporate advisor to Cosmo First since 2020.
In her new role, Kumar will assist the chairman and managing director in shaping the company into a future-ready organisation. She will work closely with the board, the group CEO, and the business heads on key areas like environment, social, and governance (ESG), including corporate social responsibility and business ethics. Her remit will also include overseeing social media, employer branding, diversity and inclusion, and the development of future leaders within the company.
Kumar has an extensive career, having been recognised with multiple awards for her contributions, including those from The Economic Times and Sewa Bharti. Her leadership in HR, CSR, and business strategy has been instrumental to Cosmo First’s growth. Kumar holds a master’s degree in international relations from the London School of Economics and an MBA from the American College, London.
