Coca-Cola commits Rs 700-cr for new Telangana facility
With an investment of Rs 700-crore, Coca-Cola, through its wholly-owned bottling subsidiary Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB), has announced the establishment of a new greenfield manufacturing facility in Peddapalli district, Telangana.

WhatPackaging? readers can recall in January, when Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages’ (HCCB) bottling operations were re-elected in three territories in northern India, the beverage giant disclosed plans to set up new plants in Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Telangana.
Target acquired, and sight set for the third time in Telangana by Coca Cola. The new plant is expected to promote industrial growth beyond Hyderabad. The state government to support with requisite infrastructure, technology, permissions and skilled manpower.
Minister Sridhar Babu said, “The Coca-Cola leadership has confirmed the new plant will be established in the Peddapalli district. This decision marks a significant shift of new large-scale manufacturing capacities by MNCs into the hinterland of the state away from Hyderabad thereby leading to a more distributed industrial growth in line with the priority of the government.”
