CMPL Expo 2024 wraps up

The event with more than 25,000 products and 10 conference sessions saw more than 400 exhibitors and 18,000 trade attendees. Major packaging companies such as UFlex, S Kumar Multi Products, AGI Greenpac, Letra Graphix and more displayed their primary and secondary packaging solutions.

In the second year of its attendance, Letra Graphix witnessed a good amount of potential inquiries. It showcased NFC enabled labels, which were a point of talking among several customers who are actively looking for something new in the market. She can increase

More ideas were exchanged at every stall, plus the disrupters awards night was a fantastic idea to appreciate industry members. We are looking forward to next year.”

AGI Greenpac displayed its array of glass packaging products. Sandeep Jagtap, manager - marketing, AGI Greenpac, said, “The response in this show was quite positive. We had a lot of inquiries from our existing as well as potential customers.” He emphasised

He said the glass packaging market is taking up good shape in the Indian context, and a lot of innovations were showcased at the exhibition. The company displayed its glass packaging solutions mainly catering to pharma, F&B, and the alco-bev industries.

The glass packaging is expected to grow at 3.7% globally between 2021-28 - and it is driven by the alco-bev segment. And finally the Indian market saw a CAGR of 5.5% last year; primarily driven by glass cosmetic bottles.
