Düsseldorf is set to become the global hub for circular economy innovation as it hosts the Circular Valley Convention (CVC) on 12-13 March 2025 at Areal Böhler. Under the theme “Uniting Industries for a Circular Tomorrow”, the event will bring together key figures from business, science, politics, and society to drive forward sustainable economic models.
With over 100 exhibitors and 200 top speakers, the convention will feature cutting-edge innovations, insightful discussions, and valuable networking opportunities. The conference programme will address key topics such as efficient value chains, core technologies for circular transformation, and sustainable material management. Attendees can explore industry-leading strategies through keynote speeches, panel discussions, and hands-on masterclasses.
A highlight of the event, the Innovation Stage, will showcase pioneering solutions from start-ups, researchers, and established companies. The expo area will feature major industry players, including Canon, SAP, Epson, Ernst & Young, and Fraunhofer CCPE, demonstrating practical circular economy applications across sectors.

Value Chains for Plastics – Auguste Laurent, CEO, Der Grüne Punkt, and Dr. Daniel Schwaab, SVP strategy, TOMRA, will discuss success factors for a fully circular plastics value chain.
