The highlight at the Brückner Servtec stall was its new, OEM-certified clip and chain workshop in Mumbai, which ensures the long-term performance and efficiency of the TDO chain-track system. New functions of the established Brückner One Digital Service Platform were also displayed at the show, which facilitates the maintenance and operation of film stretching lines.

The new clip and chain refurbishment workshop in Mumbai is equipped with state-of-the-art tools and certified according to OEM standards. The workshop ensures high-quality refurbishment and guarantees reliable operation of the film-stretching line.

At Plastindia, Brückner Servtec presented overhaul and refurbishment solutions for all types of sliding and roller chains. The expertise of Brückner Servtec combined with additional options, such as free-part inspection or rental models for clip and chain parts; minimise the downtime and ensure long-lasting quality.

The Brückner One system facilitates spare parts management, service and communication with the online module available globally. It also features data security which is certified by TÜV Nord. New modules and features were showcased at Plastindia, such as the automatic language switching of the service module. A new online AI routine automatically translates all the inputs into the user's preferred language.

The new line transformation packages presented at Plastindia are designed for the conversion of existing film stretching lines to the sustainable production of recyclable mono-material film types, such as BOPP, BOPLA or BOPE.

The line transformation package BOPP for inline coating enables the production of recyclable, ultra-high barrier films (UHB) on existing BOPP production lines. The transformation package BOPP - PE extends the product portfolio of all BOPP film stretching lines by choosing the alternative; LLDPE or HDPE.  And the BOPET - PLA allows the production of this bio-based raw material.

Helmut Huber, managing director CSO, Brückner Maschinenbau, said, “The response is good and we are proud to be participating in this event.” He believes that the Indian packaging market, in the past two years, has seen exponential growth with sophisticated machine holders.

“The number of machines in the market is increasing and hence, the film quantity is higher. We have a lot of customers who are looking years in advance and have interesting discussions about the future,” he added.
