Ball declares 2024 financial results, acquires Florida Can Manufacturing
This acquisition strengthens Ball’s North & Central American supply network. The company's full-year 2024 comparable net earnings were USD 977 million.

Ball Corporation reported its full-year and fourth-quarter 2024 results. The release does not include references to net sales and comparable operating earnings for the company's former aerospace business. However, year-over-year net earnings attributable to the corporation and comparable net earnings do include the performance of the company's former aerospace business through the sale date of 16 February 2024.
The company acquired Florida Can Manufacturing, a state-of-the-art aluminium can manufacturing facility in Winter Haven, Florida, US. This acquisition strengthens Ball’s North & Central American supply network and enhances its ability to meet growing customer demand for sustainable beverage packaging solutions in the region.
Ball Corporation is a 140-year-old global company that specialises in aluminium packaging. It has invested Rs 1,000-crore in two aluminium can and bottle manufacturing plants in India, the Sri City plant being a greenfield plant. In addition, the company has an aerosol manufacturing unit in Sanand. In the Indian market, the group was in the news when it introduced retort two-piece aluminium cans for a popular milkshake brand.
On a US GAAP basis, the company reported full-year 2024 net earnings attributable to the corporation of USD 4.01 billion, or total diluted earnings per share of USD 13.00, on sales of USD 11.80 billion, compared to USD 707 million net earnings attributable to the corporation, or total diluted earnings per share of USD 2.23, on sales of USD 12.06 billion in 2023.
Ball's full-year 2024 comparable net earnings were USD 977 million, or USD 3.17 per diluted share, compared to USD 920 million, or USD 2.90 per diluted share in 2023.
