Anuga FoodTec and Anuga Select India kicks off

Anuga FoodTec India and Anuga Select India, the two concurrent shows, are scheduled to take place from today, through 30 August 2024 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai.

Anuga FoodTec and Anuga Select begins today, organised by Koelnmesse India

This event is expected to gather over 1,000 exhibitors from 46 countries, and this year’s edition marks the participation of 10 international players, including those from Brazil, Indonesia, Iran, Italy, Poland, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, South Korea, Taiwan, and Turkey. 

PrintWeek and WhatPackaging? magazines are the media partners of Anuga FoodTec India, PackEx India, and Anuga Select India, which will be held from 28 to 30 August 2024 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai, and organised by Koelnmesse India.

Following the 2023 edition, which saw over 700 exhibitors and around 40,000 visitors, the 2024 event is expected to draw over 45,000 visitors from various food industry sectors. The exhibition space will cover 50,000 square meters, making it a large-scale B2B exhibition for food processing, packaging, and retail in India.

Anuga FoodTec India will focus on technologies driving advancements in food processing and packaging. With India's food processing industry projected to reach 535 billion USD by 2025-26, this event will facilitate the adoption of new technologies within the industry. The event will also feature the Packaging Theatre, supported by Innova Market Insights, offering hands-on experiences with the latest packaging technologies.

Anuga Select India will highlight India’s rapidly growing food and beverage market, which is projected to achieve a CAGR of 8.25% and reach 852 billion USD by 2025. This year’s event will introduce innovative product awards, recognising groundbreaking products in the sector. The culinary corner will also host live cooking demonstrations by renowned chefs, showcasing the latest culinary trends.

Koelnmesse India is organising the event. It will also include conferences, panel discussions, and workshops focused on critical topics like sustainable packaging and food safety. These events aim to provide a platform for industry leaders to network and explore new business opportunities.
