This recognition underscores AGI Greenpac's commitment to environmental sustainability and its aim to reduce its carbon footprint significantly. The certification reflects the plant's exemplary sustainability practices, including energy and water conservation, waste management, and an innovative, eco-friendly design.

As part of its sustainability initiatives, AGI Greenpac has implemented a series of impactful measures at the Bhongir facility. Key highlights include:

Energy Efficiency: 100% of the plant's exposed roof area is coated with high Solar Reflective Index (SRI) paint to reduce heat absorption, and the facility operates a 0.904 MW solar plant to harness renewable energy.

Accessibility and inclusivity: The site includes ramps with handrails, designated parking spaces, and accessible facilities for differently-abled individuals.

Water conservation: A rainwater harvesting pond with a 3,500-cubic metre capacity helps conserve water, while over 40% of the plant's landscaping features drought-tolerant species.

Green spaces: At least 15% of the plant’s area is dedicated to green spaces, enhancing biodiversity and environmental quality.

These initiatives have collectively positioned AGI Greenpac's Specialty Glass Plant as a benchmark for sustainability in the packaging products industry.
