AGI Greenpac invests INR 700-crore for glass plant in Madhya Pradesh
AGI Greenpac plans a ₹700 crore investment in Madhya Pradesh, expanding container glass capacity by 25% to meet rising market demand.

AGI Greenpac has announced plans to invest approximately INR 700-crore in a new container glass manufacturing plant in Madhya Pradesh. This expansion will increase the company’s production capacity by 25%, addressing growing demand for high-quality glass packaging.
The new facility will have a daily production capacity of 500-tonnes and will cater to key sectors, including alcoholic beverages, pharmaceuticals, and food. Commercial production is expected to begin within 24 months. The plant’s location in Madhya Pradesh offers key advantages, including central positioning, strong infrastructure, and access to raw materials.
Sandip Somany, chairman and managing director of AGI Greenpac, commented, “Madhya Pradesh’s favourable business environment and strategic location align with our growth strategy. This plant will help us meet the increasing demand for tailored glass packaging solutions and expand our share in the Indian container glass market.”

The new plant is designed to integrate advanced manufacturing technologies and sustainable practices, reflecting AGI Greenpac's commitment to environmental responsibility. It will also create over 1,000 direct and indirect jobs, boosting regional economic development.
This expansion complements AGI Greenpac’s existing operations, which include seven manufacturing plants across India. The company serves more than 500 global institutional clients and continues to strengthen its presence in the container glass industry.
