148 exhibitors attend PackVision in Pune

PackVision Expo was held from 13 to 14 June, at the Autocluster Exhibition Centre, Pimpri Chinchwad, and witnessed a success, establishing itself as a platform for the packaging, folding cartons, printing and allied sectors.

148 exhibitors showcased packaging machines, raw materials and allied solutions for 8,459 trade buyers who attended the PackVision Expo. Brands such as Control Print, Swastik Technopack, Compak, HP, Markem–Imaje, Spheretech Packaging, Columbia Machine Engineering, Worldpack Automation Systems, Nature’s Bag, Oxford Labels, Tata Power, Mehta Cad Cam and others who showcased their innovations.

Govind Pansare, president of Federation of Associations of Pimpri-Chinchwad added, “We met investors and buyers from all over the country and overseas. We are impressed with the results of PackVision Expo and look forward to working closely with organisers to make PackVision, the biggest show on packaging in India.”

Over three business days, PackVision Expo showcased the latest packaging innovations, from automated machinery such as form-fill-seal machinery, labelling, strapping machines, conveyors, weighing equipment and package printing, to eco-friendly packaging materials. The displays and live demonstrations gave attendees a firsthand look at these solutions.

Alongside the exhibition, PackVision Summit, a conference took place on 13 June to bring together industry experts from companies such as Mondelez, Skoda, Reliance, Flipkart and many others. The theme was: Reimagining Packaging: Smarter, Greener, Consumer-Centric. The full-day conference was attended by 171 delegates.

“Building on the response of this year, we are encouraged to host a bigger exhibition next year spreading across a 10,000-sqm area at Pune International Exhibition & Convention Centre (PIECC) from 16-18 May 2025 in Moshi, Pune. Over 40% of next year's exhibition space has been already rebooked by our exhibitors,” said Jasmine Chopra, portfolio director of Future Market Events.

Shivhari Halan, president of the Federation of Chakan Industries said he ws impressed by the grandeur of the exhibition as it attracted participants from across India. He looked forward to the upcoming edition.
