LDPE has been an integral part of the flexible packaging solutions in India. Production of non-barrier films for liquid packaging has been one of the leading applications of the Non-LDPE solutions. 

LDPE provides low melt pressures and improved bubble stability enhancing processing. It also provides higher peak strength and enables a cleaner cut during the form-fill-seal process.

Exxonmobil has been successful in replacing the use of LDPE with a polymer based liquid solution. This solution claims to have better processability comparable to LDPE based solutions. 

The new invention shows toughness and stiffness balance enabling decent bag drop performance and increases up to 17% higher dart impact load. The solution throws no challenge in packaging operations.
