Harish Goel
Managing director, Kamakshi Suedpack

Readers of WhatPackaging? will recall that the Germany-based film packaging specialist Suedpack collaborated with the Ahmedabad-based manufacturer of printed flexible packaging materials, Kamakshi Flexiprints, to form a joint venture in 2020 — Kamakshi Suedpack. The inauguration of the Kamakshi Suedpack production facility located near Ahmedabad took place on 14 October 2022. Kamakshi Suedpack features a manufacturing plant for flexible packaging in Bavla, near Ahmedabad. This facility was established with an investment of Rs 200 crore. Harish Goel and the team ensured an A-grade certification from BRCGS recently. This certification solidifies Suedpack Kamakshi’s position as a frontrunner in quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Jayesh Kansagara
Director, Sanraj Polyprinters

Jayesh Kansagara says that the Rajkot-based company has many firsts to its credit. Sanraj was the first in the industry to introduce cantilever roll stacking. Having implemented advanced stacking techniques, Sanraj can ensure a swift and streamlined production process. Likewise, the customised order planning software helps in recognising the importance of effective order planning. Also, Sanraj has developed a paperless internal communication system through ERP. This allows for real-time tracking of every roll at any stage of production. Today, the group has an annual capacity of 15,000-mt. The recent investment in W&H's Varex II blown film line has been added to the raft of rotogravure presses, and PE extrusion lamination machines plus one PP extrusion lamination machine.
