The HIP shrink sleeve is aimed at providing solutions to dynamic market conditions

WhatPackaging? (WP): Name of the product?
Taurus Packaging (TP): Hybrid Intaglio Printing (HIP) - based shrink sleeves.

WP: What does it do?
TP: It provides best quality shrink sleeve labels with customised solutions as per clients requirement in limited resources.

WP: Explain what it’s suitable for?
TP: It is suitable for all brands who are looking to customise the packaging solution for their products. These include; having no Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) requirement, R&D support and faster turnaround time in development.

WP: When was it launched?
TP: It was launched in 2020 during the pandemic, when the demand for packaging was high and the pressure was huge. So we worked on the HIP framework to match the raised demand.

WP: What market is it aimed at?
TP: The HIP framework is aimed at providing solutions to dynamic market conditions, evolving consumer behaviour, vigorous timelines and enthusiastic marketing needs that have the power to change the outlook of the packaging industry.

WP: How has the response been?
TP: The response has been very encouraging for the product. We are being approached by various brands and leaders who are venturing into new brands with specific niche. Recently, our presence at the DTI 2022 expo in Mumbai has increased the exposure due to the presence of budding entrepreneurs for their upcoming brands.

WP: In what way is the product relevant for Indian packaging in the SME sector?
TP: In the SME organisations, the focus is to provide tailor-made services to limited and targeted customers. They rely on their loyal customers for repeat purchase but also explore new avenues. And hence, we are required by these organisations for HIP-based shrink sleeves with customised solutions in packaging.

WP: How does it differ from similar products in the market?
TP: Taurus Packaging is known for providing features such as 50% less time on development, 75% less cost and no minimum order quantity. In this industry, MOQ and cylinder cost are the criteria which no one would compromise on. Taurus stands shoulder to shoulder with the customer during development.

WP: What is unique about the HIP-based shrink sleeve label?
TP: It caters to different requirements and creates bespoke packaging marvel which is unparalleled.

WP: Any feedback from your customers?
TP: Sindhubala from CavinKare said, “While other vendors struggled with low volumes, Taurus used its HIP framework and quickly delivered 6000 sleeves for our new product.” This was a Ghee launch and the launch was executed with unbelievable ease.

WP: Any more feedback?
TP: Deepak Agrawal, founder and CEO, Auric, “Taurus’s HIP framework has enabled us to respond to changing demand fluctuations which, as a start-up, is difficult to predict. We were able to meet the increased demand within two or three weeks of limited time with ease.”

WP: Key customers?
