Shubhanan Kanjalkar, Asian Paints

The Cinthol soap bar is wrapped in 'not-so-durable', eco-friendly kraft paper with an inner layer of moisture-resistant wax or parchment paper to preserve the fragrance.

This two-layer packaging protects the soap while allowing the scent to subtly emanate, enhancing the consumer experience before adding it to their carts!

Some brands choose to use an outer carton instead of kraft paper to create durability in transit as well as a more premium look and feel on the shelf, although it costs a little higher cost.

Shraddha Kadam, Hindustan Unilever

This soap has an envelope wrap packaging with a paper card.

The branding of this soap is very minimal yet effective, use of minimal colours and big font just enhance the brand on the shelves.

The key thing was the fragrance of the product, the product has a very fresh and strong fragrance, which is smartly used to attract the consumer and give an experience of the product just by picking up the product at the shelf.

The porous nature of paper as a  packaging material allows the fragrance to travel outside the pack to the consumer.
