The exhibition is known for being economical, with a space charge of Rs 4,800 per sqm, enabling significant participation from MSMEs. The Indian graphic arts industry has faced several challenges, which IPAMA has effectively addressed by collaborating with government ministries and associations like the Ministry of Heavy Industry (MHI), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI). Most industry grievances have been resolved, and IPAMA is now working with MHI, FICCI, and BIS to standardise printing and packaging machines and related products.

AC: What is the current focus of IPAMA in the industry?
JS:
The current focus is on increasing exports and reducing imports. Indian companies are now manufacturing technologically advanced, cost-effective, and eco-friendly machines and products.

JS:
IPAMA has invited overseas organisations to sponsor business delegates and will also invite prominent industry leaders to visit the exhibition and participate in conferences and seminars.

JS:
IPAMA is planning to organise conferences, seminars, and workshops during the exhibition. The speakers will be finalised in consultation with relevant associations and institutions before the exhibition and communicated to attendees through various channels. Potential topics for conferences include label technology, printing security, and international business. Panel discussions will likely focus on cost-effectiveness, proficiency, eco-friendly manufacturing processes, and bridging the gap between imports and exports.

AC: How is PrintPack promoting sustainability within the industry?
JS:
PrintPack emphasises the development and renovation of the latest technology with a focus on cost-effectiveness and proficiency to bridge the gap between imports and exports. With growing health, sustainability, convenience, and technology trends, the exhibition encourages the industry to adopt sustainable practices by using eco-friendly materials and exploring sustainable packaging options. The demand for printed materials, such as books and labels, is increasing, leading to a greater need for sustainable packaging solutions.
