Gaurav Bhagat (GB): In 1999, fueled by a vision to dismantle the disarray of Indian corporate gifting, Consortium Gifts was born. Adding a personal touch enhances the gifting experience. Clients have the opportunity to personalise the packaging with individual recipient names or any other bespoke elements they desire. Sustainability is a priority for many of our clients. Therefore, we offer packaging solutions that are not only reusable but also made from recycled materials or environmentally friendly alternatives, aligning with their commitment to sustainability.
DC: What's your approach to sustainable or eco-friendly gift packaging options?
GB: We prioritise the use of recycled materials such as paper, cardboard, and other packaging materials. This way we reduce the demand for new raw materials and contribute to minimising waste. DC: What's your process for handling bulk or customised gift packaging orders, especially during peak seasons like holidays?
GB: We engage in thorough consultations with clients to understand their specific requirements. For example; preferences, quantity, budget, and delivery timelines, ensuring that we meet their expectations. We present a range of customisation (including colours, designs, branding elements). We provide samples or digital proofs for client approval before proceeding with bulk production, ensuring that the final product aligns with their vision. Once customisation details are finalised, we obtain a formal order confirmation from the client.
DC: What happens after that?
GB: We communicate production timelines, shipping details, and any associated costs. We source required materials that meet quality standards and adhere to sustainability requirements. Our inventory ensures that we can accommodate bulk orders without delays. We develop a detailed production plan based on the order specifications and the volume of packaging required. We allocate resources to meet production deadlines and ensure timely delivery of orders.
DC: How do you ensure that gift packaging protects the product during shipping and handling while still maintaining its appearance?
GB: Each design is carefully crafted to provide maximum protection for the product while exuding an aura of luxury and sophistication. From reinforced corners to cushioned interiors, every element is purposefully integrated to safeguard the contents without compromising on elegance. We spare no expense in sourcing the finest materials for our packaging. From sturdy cardboard to plush velvet linings, every component is selected for its durability, resilience, and visual appeal.
